More About the Friends

The building is now on a 5 year lease to Support Staffordshire but the Friends may take on the lease thereafter. BID (Business Improvement District) occupy the first floor. As of September 2019 the Friends are a fully incorporated as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The building needs considerable annual expenditure. The interior has been reasonably well maintained although some remedial work is needed. The Council has agreed to maintain the exterior but for how long remains to be seen. If like us you believe it should remain looked after and used for and by the people of the Borough, please consider joining us.
